We used the most recently updated 2025 charts to create our pattern and the name of the Gulf was changed on the charts. Our goal is to honor coastal places and we have heard customer concerns and debates about the name of the Gulf. Here's an easy way to check your size:
1. Lay a favorite good-fitting shirt flat with buttons fastened.
2. Measure right edge to left edge of fabric under the sleeve to find half the of the chest circumference.
3. Double your measurement and match it to the chest measurement in the chart above.
Between sizes? Go to the next larger size - this shirt is intended to be a loose, comfortable shirt and is not made of a stretchy material.

I was nervous about ordering the mystery chart dress, but was so pleasantly surprised to receive Charleston, SC. It’s an area I have visited many times both on and off the water. The fabric of the dress is perfect for on the beach or boating. Dries quickly when it gets wet. And I love the pockets!!

This shirt is fabulous quality and very beautiful. I wish I had gotten a size smaller, though. I can tell that it is not going to shrink at all and it is perfectly true to size. I’m only wearing mine to the beach so it won’t matter for my purposes,but I want others to be aware.
